This is an exciting opportunity for a Product & Procurement Manager to take the reins of our award-winning product development and lead a small team who develop a market-leading portfolio of compostable foodservice packaging products.

You will support multiple product development projects and be responsible for cost of goods, supplier benchmarking and category development.

You ensure we bring out the most exciting product portfolio, purchase best cost of goods and services, and guarantee product quality and compliance.

The role is based in our city centre Edinburgh office (on a hybrid working basis).

Our plant based catering disposables are made from renewable, lower carbon recycled or reclaimed materials. They are designed to be commercially composted with food waste where accepted. Our expert environmental team can help food service go zero waste.

Product Development

Conduct or oversee research into materials and product trends to stay at the forefront of innovation Lead end-to-end product development from concept to launch. Use gap analysis, technology advancement, inception of ideas through to full development process, deliver product launch. Up-to-date knowledge of policies and legislation to shape product innovation Build market network to maintain trend and product awareness Evaluate products and suppliers to find the best value, functionality and credentials

Procurement

Benchmark suppliers so we maintain category expertise Build strategic relationships with converters, expand supplier portfolio Orchestrate RFPs and negotiate cost reductions Work with suppliers to understand capabilities and new technologies Quality & Compliance Ensure our products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements Oversee our product governance, certification and compliance Responsible for supplier assurance
