Your role and responsibilities

1.\tDevelop supply base and build up business ecosystem partnership
-\tInvestigate the supply market intelligence and develop supplier base for ODM (brand labelling) or JDM (Joint design) suppliers in Building Automation business. Plan for new supplier development footprint incl. hardware, software and solution to support fast product portfolio extension and business growth. Continuously improve the supply base to enhance the company’s competitiveness in business area.
-\tBuild up the connection between sales demand and the supply market resources, actively organize the communication between demand side and supply side and recommend the supplier resources and their technique, products and solutions to the company, effectively cooperate with Product Managers and R&D function to fully take leverage of the supply market resources.
-\tInnovatively design and manage the business model and the operating model to build up a strong and sustainable partnership ecosystem.
-\tSupport electronics category management, incl. supply chain early involvement with R&D design, supply base evaluation, dual source development, supplier relationship to secure continuity supply.
-\tMake plan for new supplier development and supplier improvement to enhance the supplier base, Optimize the supply chain and value chain. Implements effective sourcing strategies in line with the business strategy. Work across functions for supplier management and ensure that suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business.
2.\tManage supplier performance to achieve target of cost, quality and delivery
-\tOptimize the total cost of ownership and achieve cost reduction by various approaches, e.g. value engineering, should costing analysis, supply chain optimization and negotiation. Implement purchasing activities according with purchasing procedure, e.g. RfQ, bidding, e-sourcing, benchmark, outsourcing and etc.
-\tWork cross functions to manage suppliers’ production capacity & flexibility to meet the market demand, e.g. MOQ and lead time, Consignment model negotiation and continuously optimize the technical specification and the manufacture process and improve suppliers’ efficiency to contribute to cost saving of purchased goods.
-\tManage supplier on-time and on-quality delivery to meet company KPI target.
3.\tContract management, supplier relationship management and Risk management
-\tSign supply agreements with suppliers in line with company guidelines and business need
-\tManage the supply chain and supply risk at the different product life cycle stages.
-\tCoordinate and handle commercial issues with suppliers. Build and enhance the supplier relationship in line with the requirement of integrity and compliance.
4.\tProject management for new products
-\tEarly involvement in the R&D projects for new product development. Participate in the supply chain planning for new products and coordinate SCM activities according to the new product project target and schedule.

Qualifications for the role

-\tBachelor or Master degree, preferably with Engineering major. At least 5 years working experience in sourcing / supply chain management-\t3 years of souring and supply chain experience in the area of building & home automation, incl. brand labeling suppliers, EMS suppliers and software suppliers development and management; preferred knowledge about the market players, supply resources and business development in the area of building & home automation-\tExperience on electronics sourcing and electronics category management -\tGood communication and negotiation skills. Result oriented and take ownership.-\tStrategic and systematic thinking. Customer focus and continuous improvement -\tGood written and oral communications skills in English-\tData analytics and reporting in excel and PPT. SCM digital tools implementation in Power BI or other tools.
