Procurement Operations - Senior Site Expert (f/m/x)

The Commercial Operations Senior Site Expert provides crucial support to the organization's most complex sites or clusters of sites, as the procurement functional lead in local crisis management and local project implementation, to ensure the seamless operation of supply chains. As the Commercial representative at the site, they liaise with local Site Management Teams, Logistics and other key stakeholders, facilitating strategic discussions and driving supply continuity. This role is integral to maintaining robust supplier relationships and driving supply chain efficiency & value leadership opportunities.

What would be your key responsibilities?

Lead Strategic Initiatives: Drive the commercial strategy for complex sites, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and Business Continuity Plans.

Local Engagement: Collaborate with local management and logistics teams to align commercial strategies with operational needs and address specific site challenges.

Contract Management: Oversee contract reviews and supplier negotiations to maintain material availability and manage volume changes effectively.

Supplier Relationships: Foster strong partnerships with suppliers and manage performance to ensure adherence to quality and service standards.

Operational Support: Coordinate crisis management efforts for supply security while assisting in tender preparations and supplier arrangements.

Continuous Improvement: Work with the Commercial Operations Site Expertise Manager to enhance communication and optimize processes across site teams.

Data Management: Ensure accurate master data by updating material groups and obtaining necessary compliance information for sourcing.

Project Leadership: Identify and implement efficiency projects within the supply chain, collaborating with suppliers to achieve strategic objectives.

What are we looking for?

Preferred - University Degree Level (e.g.: Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Economics BSc) or equivalent.

3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain or Procurement roles, including 1-2 years in an industrial environment.

Previous experience in a Buyer role would be a great advantage.

Experience in improving efficiency activities/projects.

SAP or similar ERP knowledge and understanding.

Advanced skills in MS Office, especially in Excel, as well as knowledge about intelligence tools like PowerBI or similar.

This role will require regular travel to our manufacturing plant in Sochaczew.
