Procurement Manager- (Hybrid)

Responsible for managing and leading a team of 3 buyers covering 120+ suppliers across all commodities for the Propeller Systems organization. Ensuring product is delivered on time, meets quality standards at the right cost, and meets all compliance requirements

What You Will Do:

Lead and manage the Propeller Systems procurement team responsible for covering 120+ suppliers across all commodities.Manage the accounts of 3-5 key suppliers with full buyer responsibilities.Accountable for the execution of processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement goals, including RFQs, negotiations, cost accountability, and program execution.Responsible for ensuring on-time purchase order placement, flow of orders and first line delivery assurance in support of the Props Operations team to meet customer deliveries.Reviews, analyze and presents weekly/monthly procurement metrics.Accountable for ensuring purchase order compliance policies are met.Communicates with cross-functional disciplines for alignment and process improvement efforts.Audits and approves next level purchase orders.First line of escalation for supplier issues or problems.Analyzes and reviews price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices.Monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience3 years of buyer experience or 5 years of relevant experience related to procurementIn absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required"U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62"

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
