Position Overview\n

The Procurement Manager will oversee the sourcing and purchasing of high-end collectibles and bullion products. This role involves developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of quality materials while optimizing costs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the market, excellent negotiation skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.\n

Essential Functions, Duties & Accountabilities\n\nDevelop and implement procurement strategies to optimize product sourcing.\nIdentify and establish relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with quality standards.\nMonitor market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.\nCollaborate with internal teams, including all sales channels, finance, and operations, to forecast demand and ensure adequate inventory levels.\nConduct supplier audits and performance reviews to maintain high standards and identify areas for improvement.\nProvide leadership, coaching and feedback to the procurement team, to ensure a high level of performance and engagement.\nHelp establish and maintain key performance metrics for all levels of procurement activities.\nManage product flow to ensure inventory is maintained to the optimum level to support on time customer deliveries, while keeping inventory holdings at the appropriate levels.\nStay updated on industry regulations, market developments, and economic factors affecting procurement decisions.\n\n

Additional Functions, Duties & Accountabilities\n\nResponsible for the direction and supervision of 4 or more Procurement staff.\nServe as a member of Procurement Team and support others as necessary.\nMaintain flexibility in work schedule to meet business needs.\nUphold and promote AMS's values system of integrity, collaboration, and creativity in all relationships with customers, suppliers, fellow employees and other stakeholders.\nEnsure the confidentiality and full and complete safeguarding of the company's trade secrets and any of our business clients' customer lists and related records.\n\n

Educational Requirements\n\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.\n\n

Required Experience and Skills\n\n3-5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the collectibles or commodities sector.\nAt least 2 years experiencing in a lead or supervisor role.\nStrong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable terms and pricing.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nProficiency in various purchasing systems and Microsoft Office Suite.\nStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal teams.\n\n

Travel\n\nAbility to travel domestically and internationally when required, approximately 0 - 5%\n\n
