Lochridge-Priest is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Manager to support our projectmanagement team on large-scale commercial and industrial projects. This role involves actively managing the procurement process, building strong supplier relationships, and ensuring that materials and services are acquired on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement management, a solid understanding of construction materials and codes, and exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Serve as a the primary liaison between operations and purchasing departments Collaborate with leadership to meet production requirements. Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing and supply 
chain efficiency. Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including construction contracts, along with contract amendments and extensions. Source suppliers, negotiate costs, and conduct market research to ensure the best value for 
projects. Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations to maintain quality standards. Manage supplier relationships and ensure effective risk management throughout the procurement 
process. Collaborate with project managers to understand project needs and align procurement activities 
accordingly. Maintain accurate procurement records and manage the procurement budget effectively. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new products to drive innovation and 
cost savings. Utilize technology for procurement processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Oversee polices and procedures to ensure collective team satisfaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Business, Accounting, Finance, 
Engineering, or a related field. 5-7 years of experience in managing the procurement of materials for large capital construction 
projects. Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to manage budgets and ensure compliance with procurement policies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across departments.Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
