Your role and responsibilities

•\tDefine the procurement and logistics strategies to support business strategy achievement, and to lead a team of procurement specialists and category specialist to execute procurement and logistics strategies by continuously improving costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products. •\tImplement effective sourcing strategies in line with business strategy to ensure that suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements. Ensure all relevant parties understand strategies and execute processes accordingly.•\tDrive continuous improvement in supply chain, cost, quality and delivery. Lead the teams to optimize the total cost of ownership and implement costing saving projects by value engineering, supply chain optimization & negotiations. Manage supplier on-time and on-quality delivery to meet business requirement and KPI target; continuously improve suppliers’ delivery lead time, payment terms and inventory management.•\tEnsure business continuity and manage supply risk. Lead the team to continuously enhance the supply base, incl. dynamic supply risk review, dual source development and localization projects. Develop new supply resources and supply chain partnership to support business growth & footprint strategy. Develop appropriate business model and contracts with suppliers to fulfill business requirements.•\tImplements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area. Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities across all teams in scope. •\tInspires, guides, motivates, and develops direct and indirect reports within HR policies.•\tBuilds effective, competent, and high-performing teams.

Qualifications for the role

\tBachelor or master’s degree in engineering or business \tAt least 15 years work experience in SCM or Operation functions, understand direct and indirect material sourcing and procurement processes. Work experience in different SCM and operation functions is preferred. Procurement in a production setting a plus \tBusiness driven, strong understanding on supply base of industrial markets in China. Build unbeatable supply chain advantage in terms of availability, cost, quality and resilience. Tracked record of SCM skills in managing supplier relationship with systematical approach.\tStrategic thinker and customer focused\tInspiring and inclusive leadership and demonstrated good record of building and managing effective teams\tOne-level-up thinking & Collaboration, proven ability to work collaboratively across different businesses and teams, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring.\tGrowth mindset\tFluent in English
