The Procurement & Logistics Academy produces specialists in the supply chain area, from the material/services purchasing until the receiving and storage. This 2-year-program consists in job rotations in Purchasing and Fulfillment and cross-pollination experiences in Supplier Quality and Logistics department.
The program will include on-the-job trainings and classroom trainings focused on supply chain aspects.
The Academy member will become responsible for:
In the Purchasing assignment:
Developing and executing long term strategies for the assigned commodity, ensuring best performance for procurement KPI
Integrating commodity strategies into product leadership, engineering and manufacturing objectives.
For New Product Development, driving supplier selection, development, and overall supplier management with support of engineering, product leadership or other sourcing team in accordance with the business strategy
Partnering and being a point of reference for Product Leadership, Sales and Engineering for product strategy of the assigned commodity
Developing negotiation strategies and leading negotiations to achieve stated goals and objectives of supply chain for Single PO as well as Strategic Partnership
Negotiating and issuing purchase orders with suppliers achieving lowest possible cost for material, balanced against optimum quality and schedule needs
Developing Sourcing initiatives for cost out program, deflation, cycle reduction, BCC Sourcing and cash flow improvement (e.g. rebate, payment terms)
Leveraging S&OP data to match and optimize supplier capacity with business goals
In the Fulfillment assignment:
• Managing delivery of materials for the assigned Suppliers, monitoring the production plan and coordinating Logistics until receiving into the systems, in line with Company processes and procedures.
• Giving the visibility to Internal Customer on Supplier plan, preventing criticalities and managing priorities, to ensure the achievement of On Time Delivery versus internal and external Customers.
• Collaborating with Suppliers to ensure On Time Delivery for all documentations associated with the materials supplied.
• Interacting with the Platform and Operating Units inside Procurement Organization and to provide regular feedback about Supplier performances to refine the Supplier strategy.
• Partnering with Quality to support Supplier surveillance and on time issues resolution.
• Cooperating with Logistic team to generate transportation best plan to minimize cost and improve efficiency.
• Supporting both Vendor Recovery negotiations & results and Account Payable resolution on invoices issues.
• Supporting key Procurement initiatives through continuous improvement projects.
• Ensuring Supplier compliance with regulatory and reputation requirements.

To be successful in this role you will:
Bachelor’s/Master degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering or Economic
Be eligible for apprenticeship contract
Be fluent in English and Italian, both in writing and speaking
