Overview POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for supporting Pyramid’s Procurement Department in relation to Pyramid’s GPO Program (Avendra), Purchasing System (Craftable), direct contract programs, along with ad hoc projects. This position is the bridge between key Procurement systems, partners, and Pyramid key stakeholders to ensure successful implementations, support and special project deliverables. This position is customer-facing (properties / partners) and involves professional communication with sense of urgency when resolving escalated issues and/or time sensitive projects. The ideal candidate is an energetic, self-motivated, professional communicator who is adept at learning multiple systems, confident presenting information to audiences (1-200 person settings), and has advanced excel knowledge. LOCATION: This position is remote, and is based out of our Woodlands Corporate Office. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible for the day-to-day support for the Procurement department including: • Collaborate with Vice President of Procurement and Corporate Sr. Procurement Manager on assignments, projects and deadlines. • Monitor, review and respond to Procurement support requests, escalating to appropriate contacts as needed. • Act as key support for purchasing system, GPO system and other key programs by preparing informational and/or training materials, training properties on tasks within the systems through group or individual meetings (Teams, direct calls or in person meetings), and responding to support requests. • Collect, maintain and organize documentation for new property set up, including but not limited to credit applications, key vendor account numbers, and other requests. • Create new property access into Procurement systems / vendor partner systems. • Coordinate with key partners to communicate any challenges regarding systems or products/ services needing escalation. • Prepare communications in a professional manner to be shared with relevant stakeholders, to include presenting information. • Generate reports and summaries using advanced excel. • Create, maintain, and organize procurement and partner related training documents • Document storage and uploading of documents to project management sites, sharepoint and learning system. • Prepare regularly scheduled reports and ad hoc reports from Procurement system / Finance system. • Maintain electronic filing system and various project trackers. • Maintain and organize materials library. • Acts as liaison between partners and properties, complying with all processes and procedures. • Other duties as assigned. • Up to 20% travel required. Qualifications • Minimum one years’ experience in hospitality (procurement, general accounting, AR/AP experience a plus) • Familiarity with purchasing systems (procure-to-pay process experience a plus) • Experience completing time critical projects responsibly • Experience creating and presenting materials in a group format • Strong math and analytical skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Experience with Avendra program is a plus • Experience with Craftable purchasing system is a plus • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and able to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Ability to work in a team environment as well as self-motivated in individual projects • Strong personal accountability and work ethics WORK REQUIREMENTS: • Work is generally sedentary. This position requires attendance to Pyramid’s annual conference as part of the Sponsorship Committee. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $26.00/Hr. - $30.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
