Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the procurement process from requisition to purchase order Evaluate supplier options and negotiate pricing and contracts Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information Collaborate with various departments to understand procurement needs Monitor procurement budgets and assist in cost-saving initiatives Resolve any issues with vendors related to pricing, shipments, or quality Prepare reports and presentations for management as needed Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures RequirementsApproximately 5 years of experience in the field Familiarity with fittings and pipes used in civil engineering Strong supplier database expertise and effective purchasing instincts Knowledge of Buildsmart is a plus
