Procurement and Stock Controller

Minimum requirements:
Matric Certificate Diploma in a relevant field is advantageous 2+ years of experience in inventory control or procurement Knowledge of inventory control procedures and best practices Valid driver’s license (forklift license advantageous) Physically fit to handle and move stock Computer literate, Pastel and Excel proficiency required Key Responsibilities: Monitor suppliers, raw materials, and finished goods, ensuring cost-effective, high-quality purchases Coordinate the on-time delivery of raw materials and finished goods for production and sales (local and international) Assist in developing and maintaining inventory control systems and supplier databases Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase requests, orders, invoices, and supplier details Calculate reorder points and optimal transport quantities for efficient stock management Process goods manufactured, received, transferred, or sold in the accounting system Ensure proper storage, security, and handling of raw materials and finished goods in line with protocols Conduct and reconcile stock counts, investigating variances and implementing corrective actions Prepare reports on stock levels, re-order points, and inventory turnover
