WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
Seeking a detail-oriented Procurement and Accounts Payable Solutions Analyst to join our Team! This position will be responsible for supporting the Implementation, adoption and maintenance of features/functionality related to Bain’s Internal core finance systems (SAP S/4HANA Cloud and other Integrated systems). The primary focus will initially be on Procurement as we will be implementing a new source-to-pay platform.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and Communications skills, Problem Solving abilities and Process knowledge. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders and Cross Functional product Teams to understand and analyze business requirements, ensuring that the IT solutions align with procurement and AP processes to achieve smooth and efficient operations. The candidate will also provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and training to end-users, ensuring optimal system performance and compliance with company policies and industry standards.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Product Maintenance & Analytics (50%)
You will support existing product by answering questions and troubleshooting issues, attempting to find the root cause and escalating when requiredYou will independently make complex manual updates based on incoming requests as well as utilizing personal judgement to optimize productYou will run periodic user surveys to track satisfaction as well as areas for improvementYou will track and analyze key metrics, summarizing insights and findings You will test routine updates and enhancements to ensure necessary functionality continues to work and are user friendlyManage enhancement requests (40%)
You will elicit requirements on small - medium sized requests, working with users to determine underlying request and potential solutionsYou will transform these requests into actionable work with user stories, process flow diagrams, and other supporting materialsYou will work with appropriate technical teams and third parties to complete these items, continuously communicating with key stakeholders
Develop domain knowledge (10%)
You will utilize domain knowledge and comprehensive system understanding to act more independently
ABOUT YOU
Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience and a minimum of 2+ years relevant professional experience and 1 year experience in a systems related role.
Proficiency in procurement and Accounts Payable software solutions, such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, or similar platforms.Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-time zone environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong understanding of Accounting Concepts and Business Processes in the area of Procurement and Accounts Payable, ideally with hands-on experience in system implementation, configuration, and support.Practical experience in gathering and interpreting user needs, and defining, documenting and validating requirementsExperience in developing and delivering training sessions for end-users, as well as creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation.Quickly grasps new requirements, technologies, tools and conceptsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for understanding and addressing internal business needsAbility to problem solve and take initiative on multi-faceted projects/responsibilities
U.S. Compensation Information
In Illinois state, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $90,000 - $109,000 placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level
For all other locations, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is commensurate with competitive geographic market rates for this role and will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level
Annual discretionary performance bonus
This role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation
