Procurement Analyst I, MRO The Procurement Analyst I is responsible for providing support to the teams of each respective category. Primary duties include, but are not limited to tactical and operational activities, follow up communication with vendors regarding processes, offer input towards improving procurement life-cycle duties as needed. Essential Functions + Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for designated spend categories + Support cost reduction opportunities + Assist in development of Requests for Information (RFI) with potential vendors + Assist in development of Requests for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Quotes (RFQ), assess results, document recommendations and assist in communication of results to vendors and internal stakeholders + Supports the follow through in implementation of various category strategies + Track performance and communicate vendor performance feedback + Communicate best practices and competitive offerings to identify opportunities for innovation, competitive advantage and increased profitability + Seek, support and implement internal and external process improvement opportunities + Support the raw material qualification process + Work with Quality and other stakeholders to resolve non-conforming/contamination material issues + Please note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
