Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a Procurement Analyst to join our Supply Chain Organization. GDIT’s supply chain team is organized by commodity, meaning our teams strategically purchase the same types of products in order to grow their expertise. We have Software, Cloud/Saas, End User Device/IT Hardware, Server/Storage, Non-IT Hardware, Corporate Services, and Consulting Services teams. We also have a group of dedicated buyers that support specific programs/requirements.

The Procurement Analyst chosen for this role will be on the Cloud/SaaS team, dedicated to purchasing for one specific program within GDIT. They will responsible for all aspects of the supply chain procurement process to support a GDIT government customer.

We are looking for professionals with experience with FAR/Government procurement and preferably software experience.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Manage the procurement process for CMS direct (government customers) procurements.  Sourcing execution in compliance with the various regulatory requirements imposed upon GDIT Supply Chain by its customers, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and leverage the market strength of GDIT, recognize market conditions, and strive to maximize value obtained from each procurement action.Management of RFQ/RFPs from drafting, bidder communication, negotiation, and executionCompletion of sourcing checklist (includes single/sole source justification, price analysis, individual screening requirements, etc.)Ensures high internal customer satisfaction.Supports the implementation of process improvements and streamlined procedures whenever possible

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years in government contracts and strategic procurement or in lieu of Bachelor's degree, 4+ years of equivalent work experienceDetail-oriented individual who works quickly and efficientlyAbility to work in a fast paced environmentAdaptability in a constantly evolving environmentExperience with terms and conditions/pricing negotiationExperience in written/oral communications at all levels of the companyAbility to research, analyze, compile, and assess business and financial dataAbility to make sound decisions and recommendationsAbility to manage multiple projects related to the purchasing processPerforms work on contracts that require U.S. citizenship

The likely salary range for this position is $56,100 - $75,900. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
