Dow has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Procure to Pay Specialist, based in São Paulo (BRA)
About you and this role - What you would do in this role
The role supports the Dow Procurement organization in developing and delivering end-to-end strategies for the Procure to Pay (PtP) process. This involves performing a range of assignments related to the discipline, using prescribed guidelines or policies to analyze situations, and receiving a moderate level of guidance and direction.
In this role, you will need to understand key business drivers for your discipline and function and be able to expand your conceptual and working knowledge related to your area. You will provide informal guidance to new team members and explain complex information to others. It is your responsibility to use your technical experience, established practices, and personal judgment to analyze and resolve straightforward problems. Your performance will impact the quality of your own work and your team’s work, and you will need to work within established guidelines and policies.
Responsibilities:
Working independently to accomplish assigned workload and collaborating with other team members, Sourcing, DSS and PtP Operations.
Acting as a point of escalation to drive successful stakeholder satisfaction and improve document automation.
Partnering with leadership and DSS to develop and maintain appropriate documentation and work process standards and procedures.
Proactively identify analytics and reporting needs and assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
Leading trainings and global work process improvement initiatives.
Participating in system testing.
Conducting complaint troubleshooting related to work processes.
Coordination between all stakeholders in supplier development to facilitate day-to-day problem-solving and reduce overall response time.
Analyzing document automation rate and automation value metrics managing progress and bring analytical view and strategies of improvement.
Be a problem solver and work closely with the key stakeholders in correct issues in the root. Bring different areas to work together towards a common goal.
Participate in many projects and initiatives at the same time and delivery value for all organization.
Uses prescribed guidelines or policies in analyzing situations and make decisions.
Participating in internal and external audits
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (Relevant Discipline).
Previous experience in purchasing or related areas is preferred
Strong SAP ECC knowledge
Advanced English and Spanish Skills
Experience as Project Management is a plus
