Processing Tech I, Heat Treat (3rd Shift)

Physical Demands: 

Must be able to lift/move 30 lbs. (may not exceed per EHS policies) Must be able to stand for long periods of time 

 

Basic Requirements: 

High school diploma or GED 1-years experience operating machinery  Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

5 years’ experience in heat treat operations  Ability to read and interpret product prints Ability to use inspection gages and instruments

Key Responsibilities:

Knowledge of general heat treat requirements for solution treat & age of titanium and aluminum. Proficient in verifying paperwork (routers, logs, furnace charts, specifications, furnace calibration status, etc.) Knowledge of company policies, applicable procedures, specifications, and work instructions Proficient in cleaning processes Knowledge of all heat treat equipment operation Understands purpose of and how to perform shear testing. Ability to perform daily PM for heat treat equipment.  Knowledge of general heat treat requirements for solution treat & age of titanium and aluminum.
