Ecolab is searching for a driven Process and Control Lead for future opportunities within our Distributor Finance team in Pune, India. 

Ecolab is seeking a Manager to join our Distributor Finance team.  

This is a key role responsible for leading and coordinating the Process and Control activities and serving as a finance partner to divisions and functions across the company. Also, you will be responsible of supervising, monitoring and developing the team members of the area. 

Job Characteristics: Responsible for coordinating, and documenting financial analysis projects. Serves as the financial contact with outside firms. Normally directs a section or group of financial analysts. Conducts or participates in the most complex financial analysis projects. Provides advice and direction to less experienced financial analysts.

Independence Level/Reports to: Normally reports to Top Financial Analysis Executive.

What You Will Do:

Manage team of direct and indirect associates by providing aggressive goals, timely feedback and ongoing talent development through structured stretch projects and clear objectives to consistently deliver timely, high-quality results that meet or exceed service levels

Address issues with distributor partners, divisional finance, and sales management to develop corrective and preventive actions

Adhere to highest control standards by continuously evaluating processes for potential enhancements while ensuring full execution of current controls

Maintain and create departmental standard operating procedures

Clearly articulate the business direction and ensures it is understood and embraced by team members

Demonstrates urgency to resolve issues with associates and internal customers

Drive results through building effective working relationships with departments and key stakeholders

Support internal and external audits

Facilitate continuous improvement by fostering a culture of innovation and supporting team members in implementing improvement ideas

Set up goals and discuss performances with Supervisors

Build talent and career plan with the members of the team

Support managements in salary strategy and merit process

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field and significant work experience

8 Years' of business-related experience

1 Years experience in shared services 

2 Years’ experience leading a team of 10 or more direct reports with the ability to manage

Demonstrated history of direct problem resolution with positive outcomes

Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement and/or project management initiatives

Proven history of building strong teams, talent management and development 

Self-motivated Highly focused on results and process 

Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite software (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook), workflow software, and ad hoc reporting tools and databases

Strong organizational and management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities, resolve complex issues and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong written and oral communication skills with fluency in English
