Position: Process Technician - Optimizer Saw
Reports to: Department Supervisor
Pay rate: $24.98

The primary duties of this position are to operate the optimizer saw. Other duties include loading the machine with material, cleaning it out when necessary, and keeping it running smoothly through regular preventative maintenance tasks.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee will regularly be exposed to moving mechanical parts, hot/cold temperatures, and loud noises. The noise level in the work environment can fluctuate from quiet to loud and ear protection may be required. Temperatures inside the facility may vary from cool to warm throughout the day.   This position requires constant standing and walking, frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.  The employee must have good manual dexterity, grasping, writing, sitting, standing, and walking capabilities.  They must also have good computer, phone, and communication skills to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors.  This position requires basic math and basic English language skills.

Experience working with computers is a must. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs like Excel and Word is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent education is preferred.
