This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.

Principal Accountabilities:

Packaging and warehousing salt products. Operating salt conveying equipment, operation of packaging and related equipment, forklift operation. Product quality testing and housekeeping tasksUnderstanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulationsMaintaining a safe and clean work environmentOther duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employerCargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facilityAbility to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodationMust be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc.. with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Must be able to operate machineryAbility to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)Basic use of a computerAbility to work overtime, weekends and holidays with advance noticeAbility to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)

Preferred Qualifications:

Forklift certifiedHigh School diploma or Equivalent job experienceExperience in production related work
