We are looking for a talented Process Technician to join our growing team. This opportunity has the responsibility for supporting complex program launches, as well as review current programs and machines for improving production efficiency. This role is ideal for those with extensive process engineering experience in the injection molding industry.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for machine start-upsMaximize uptime on all machine centers with objective and reducing and eliminating downtimeFirst response to all machine, robot and secondary equipment alarmsEnsure machines and robots are running at optimum efficiencyTroubleshoot machine, mold and material issuesMake necessary adjustments to prevent part defectsRespond to Quality and Operator issues regarding parts and processes.Responsible for the accurate completion of Process Verification and Master Set-up Sheets.Ensures proper care of all equipment especially the managing and proper disposal of all purge.Drive the reduction of scrap through elimination of mold conditions using corrective action and mold repair items.Responsible to follow all OSHA and safety rules and regulations

SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

3rd shift - Monday through Friday - 11:00PM to 7:00am

2nd shift - Monday through Friday - 3:00PM to 11:00PM

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have 3-5 years experience in plastics .

• 3-5 years experience in troubleshooting injection molding preferred.

• Must be experienced in mold set-ups and troubleshooting.

• Robotics experience preferred.

• Must be willing to stay current with technology through continuous education.

• Working knowledge of plant machinery, electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatic preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of injection mold machines, tools, plastics, and robotics

• Mechanical aptitude

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Position is located in a manufacturing environment, and may involve physical activity such as bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and sitting for long periods of time, in addition to lifting up to 50lbs.
