Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical PPI Applications Engineer to join our team in Chihuahua, Mexico. In this role, you will be responsible to select the product to perform properly in each customer application, it is part of the responsibility get the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) with the different customers as well of the implementation and industrialization of the products in the production areas ensuring quality controls.

Develop and implement PPI procedures and documentation for new and existing productsAnalyze customer applications, interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality requirements to select the appropriate product.Design and draw in 3D software molds and tooling for new productsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processesConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conforming partsPrepare and present technical reports and recommendations to management and clientsStay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations, ensuring compliance in all processesProvide technical support and training to production teams on PPI-related topicsParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product qualityOccasionally travel to client sites or manufacturing facilities as needed

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field)Advanced English & Spanish Experience: Rubber industry (mandatory)Analyzing machinery drives and pulleys-belts systems to transfer power is highly preferred.In a similar role or related field, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industryManufacturing processes and quality control systemsKnowledge: Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) or relevant industry standardsCAD software, 3D designing ( Mechanical)Problem-solving and analytical skillsRead and interpret technical drawings and specificationsIndustry-specific regulations and standardsWillingness to travel occasionally as required by the role
