Hyland is looking for an experienced Accounting and Financial Systems professional to join our Financial Systems team as a Product Owner. In this position, you will be responsible for managing and driving process efficiencies and solutions pertaining to the department’s financial systems, focusing on the Order to Cash process. You will work in close partnership with the Information Systems (IS) team who supports our internal Billing, Licensing, and Revenue systems in managing projects and initiatives that involve resources from both the Accounting and IS departments. You will serve as a liaison between these departments to coordinate requirements, prioritize requests, and manage cross-departmental projects. Candidates should have project management experience, an accounting or finance background, strong organization skills, and desire to track down and solve problems. What you will be doing Lead efforts to optimize department processes and workflows by designing and executing improvement strategies, facilitating improvement projects, defining priorities, and managing risksUnderstand the details of the department processes and their interlinked activities and tasks in order to capture, evaluate, and define how existing processes work.Manage initiatives to resolve system issues and inefficienciesPartner with various teams and departments across the company to identify areas of improvement and streamline processesLead cross functional teams and orchestrate meetings to maintain steady project momentum and timely resolutionsEvaluate to ensure all processes, templates, communications, and self-service information are current and relevant to the target audience; maintain process and template repository.Contribute to the creation and maintenance of department policies; ensure distribution, education, and retention of new and existing policies.Apply knowledge of department processes, practices, and policies by providing clarification and education to department and company employees and leaders.Maintain awareness of internal and external factors and changes and evaluate their impact to department operations and processes; assist with ongoing risk assessment analysis.Analyze complex data sets that are used to drive and measure business process improvements.Mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to other team members; may provide feedback to leadership on abilities of team.Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy What will make you successful Bachelor's degree or equivalent experiencePrior experience in an accounting or finance related rolePrior experience in Salesforce and/or Zuora RevProRelevant experience with process improvementSuccess in effectively envisioning, developing, and implementing new strategies to address competitive, complex business issuesDemonstrated track record of solving complex business problems with scalable solutionsStrong oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tactStrong data gathering, interviewing, and analytical and problem solving skillsMicrosoft Windows and Office proficientStrong interpersonal skills; able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of departmentStrong collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with all levels of employees in other areasHighly organized and experienced at multi-taskingAbility to make decisions guided by policies, practices, procedures and business planAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, adjusting priorities as business needs change and adept at managing multiple workstreams/projectsAbility to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of multiple factorsStrong ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tactAbility to think strategically considering the broader business implications, enterprise dependencies, with an awareness of the up/downstream requirements and impactsSelf-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion with minimal oversightAbility to coach, mentor and provide feedback to team members in a timely mannerUp to 10% travel time requiredBased on individual states’ employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements: base salary range of $92,800-$139,200 and eligible for bonus and benefits
