We are seeking a highly skilled Process Optimization Engineer to join our dynamic team within the bank. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and improving processes to enhance operational efficiency, productivity and client experience.

Responsibilities
Process Automation: Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for process improvement and automation within Global Markets and Global Markets Support functions, leveraging available tools and frameworks to streamline operations and processes. Solution Development: Develop and implement process optimization strategies that enhance productivity and reduce costs. Design and develop machine learning models and algorithms that address business challenges and improve management information required for an enhanced decision-making process. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to gather requirements and develop process maps and documentation. Testing and Validation: Develop testing frameworks and validate models and automation processes to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards. Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the performance of solutions and automated processes, making recommendations for enhancements and optimizations. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for models, automation workflows, and processes to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on available tools and automated processes, fostering a culture of innovation within Global markets and Global Markets Operations. Research and Development: Conduct research to stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning, and automation technologies. Evaluate new tools and methodologies to enhance existing processes and propose innovative solutions that align with the bank's strategic goals. Measure: Monitor and measure process performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure continuous improvement. Projects: Lead projects aimed at streamlining operations and improving service delivery.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. A Master's degree will be an advantage.Experience, skill and capability
Experience working in a Corporate and Investment banking or Global Markets environment. Proven experience in process optimization, lean methodologies, and project management. Strong knowledge of Robotic tools, PowerBI and other automation tools and experience in implementing automation solutions. Understanding of financial services and banking operations is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in process mapping and optimization tools. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices. Managing and engaging with various stakeholders. Good knowledge of risk management frameworks, standards, and best practices. Familiarity with relevant banking regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with diverse teams, and convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
