Responsibilities:
Collaborate with sister fab’s Process Integration Engineering (PIE), Process and Equipment Engineering, Quality Engineering Management (QEM) teams to improve yield and reliability. Communicate module related issues to the Fab engineering and leadership teams. Design, implement, and analyze experiments to improve fab process, yield, and quality. Collect and interpret complex data to optimize Fab processes and increase yields. Engage and/or lead cross-area engineering teams to solve process issues. Work closely with global partners to know the latest module related topics and process alignment projects. Collaborate with other Process Integration module owners and sister fabs to drive business process alignment Partner with PIE, Process and Equipment Engineering and Production to better forecast and balance yield, output and process issues.Requirements:
PhD/Master's/Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronic, material, physics field or equivalent experienceStructural and process integration knowledge with basic comprehension of process area preferred Knowledge of fabrication processes, probe, backend and reliability implications preferred Understanding of statistical process controls Understanding of basic device physics in deciphering product performance Strong verbal and written communication skillsGood data compilation, statistical analysis and reporting skills
Improve yield by working on tools, the process, or wafer fabrication recipes. Fix wafer fabrication problems and performs root cause analysis. Works with other process areas to understand and control process deviations. Long-term investigation of defect issues may require extensive work with shift engineering and other functional areas. Evaluates products to ensure they meet the required design and performance specifications. Conducts research to assess process adjustment requirements and recommends process improvements or equipment changes needed to efficiently manufacture new product or part types.
