Summary of Role:

We are looking for a Process Engineer- Lab to join the Building Operations & Services team and support the CSL R&D facility located at our state-of-the-art facility in Melbourne.! You will be a key contributor and provide technical support in the operations and maintenance of our laboratory equipment. Your expertise in facility plant/equipment operations and compliance with GxP standards will be crucial.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to Senior Plant Engineer – Building operations and services, you will:

Manage contract/service providers to ensure operational and compliant site status.Monitor and track calibration/service status of equipment and controlled environments.Manage key stakeholders within the business.Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues with facility plant and laboratory equipment.Support plant shutdowns, start-ups, and maintenance interventions.Maintain current R&D equipment data within the Asset Management system.Generate and manage Service Level Agreements with external vendors for critical Research & Development equipment.Lead the response and close-out of utility and equipment-related non-conformance & deviations.Review and generate technical diagrams for processes within the CSL Melbourne site.Respond to in-hours and out-of-hours alarm calls.Communicate ideas and results effectively in both written and oral presentations.Support the technical services team and assist other engineering team membersEnsure high safety standards in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as CSL's policies.

Experience:

B.E in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or higher.3+ years experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or process development.Knowledge of OGTR and Department of Agriculture regulations for PC2/BC2 facilities.Strong planning, coordination, and SCADA skills.Experience with clean room facilities and regulatory guidelines.Excellent communication and writing skills.Excellent data analysis, trending, and reporting/presentation skills.
