Sanofi Global MSAT (Manufacturing Sciences, Analytics, and Technology) acts as a crucial link between our R&D and Manufacturing facilities, playing a vital role in securing the present portfolio and delivering future launches of high-quality and innovative drugs and vaccines. By driving its own transformation, MSAT fulfils an important function by providing day-to-day manufacturing support, focusing on process aspects, effective life-cycle managements (LCM) strategies, process robustness enhancement, and yield improvement to optimize performance and costs.

The Injectable Platform within Global MSAT, ensures new product industrialization, validation, pre-approval inspections & dossier support and being responsible for all Drug Product (DP) LCM improvement strategies and execution. The Platform provides technical support to DP manufacturing sites (internal and CMOs), enabling technology transfer projects, driving process innovation, and improvement of or introduction of new technologies. The platform also partners with R&D for ensuring right-first-time (RFT) launch enablement and provides oversight of late-stage clinical trial material manufacturing in M&S commercial production sites.

The Injectable Platform is looking for a driven and motivated Process Engineer, reporting to the Head, Vial Filling Excellence (SWT). The Scientific manager is leading the support of portfolio execution and technical process improvements.

Main Responsibilities:

The major/overall purpose of the job:

Secure reliable and sustainable supply

Enable M&S network and partnership development for market access expansion

Contribute to M&S project roadmap delivery.

Foster innovative high-performance products and solutions to patients

Job Specific Responsibilities:

Assist in Vial Filling & Lyophilization process validation and troubleshooting.

Contribute to maintaining technical knowledge in workforce.

 Accelerates Innovation within MSAT to promote new ways of working and to create an innovative mindset to gain efficiency and to increase products knowledge.

Collaborates with Global MSAT experts / MSAT network to develop scientific coaching when needed.

Set & drive project activities in the Vial & Cartridge scope (change controls, scheduling, execution)

Ensure cGMP and HSES compliance throughout the activities.

About You

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters in basic sciences, math, engineering, or pharmacy

2+ years’ experience or PhD with experience in biological processes or analytics in a cGMP environment.

Scientific background in injectable processes and manufacturing support

Understanding of GMP and CMC requirements

Good written and verbal communication skills, and ability to influence at operational levels.

High autonomy / receives guidance and instruction

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to support product development, technology transfer and validation, preferably applied to Vial Drug Product.

Demonstrated ability to organize work to deliver on ambitious targets.

Behaves according to company values and competencies.

Ability to influence internally and across VIA functions; forward thinking with an attitude of collaboration, optimization, efficiency, continuous improvement.

Proactively anticipates and effectively communicates successes, constraints, conflicts, solutions and actions for resolution.
