Process Engineer

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a curious, scientific-minded, and detail-oriented professional to join our Process Engineering Team in our brand-new printed circuit board factory, supporting swing shift production. This opportunity is for Engineers of all experience levels, our close-knit teams provide ample opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of our printed circuit board fabrication processes. 

As a Process Engineer, a typical day might include the following: 

Providing engineering support in multiple areas of manufacturing.

Specifying, developing, justifying, documenting, implementing, and sustaining assembly processes, equipment, and materials.

Improving quality, efficiency, and capacity of processes.

Investigating and recommending solutions to manufacturing challenges.

Developing and/or conducting experiments to identify root cause of problems and evaluate process capabilities.

This job might be for you if:

You have a B.S. in Engineering or equivalent.

You have a working knowledge of statistics as applied to process capability measurements.

You can train technical and non-technical staff.

You possess effective writing, documentation, and speaking skills.

You are able to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.

​Location: 

Moscow, ID – This position is located in SEL’s state of the art Printed Circuit Board factory in Moscow, ID. Enjoy the smaller town life: country space, freedom from traffic, easy access to recreational activities in nearby mountains, rivers, and forests, as well as great schools and universities.

Pay Range Data:

Associate Process Engineer, $60,800 – $95,000. Process Engineer, $69,100 – $108,100. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills. Our ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location.
