A Senior Process Engineer is needed to optimize and scale manufacturing processes, focusing on liquid blending, solids blending, and substrate converting. This role involves transitioning new product formulations from R&D to full-scale production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Reporting to the Manufacturing Plant Director, the engineer will troubleshoot operational challenges, refine production processes, and support the setup of new manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Optimization: Develop and refine blending and converting processes to maximize efficiency.Product Scale-Up: Collaborate with R&D to transition new formulas from lab-scale to full-scale production.Operational Improvements: Troubleshoot issues, enhance product yield, and reduce downtime.Manufacturing Setup: Assist in facility establishment, equipment selection, and process scaling.Data-Driven Decisions: Use statistical tools to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.Quality & Compliance: Maintain documentation and ensure regulatory and safety standards.Team Training: Mentor production staff and junior engineers.Safety & Sustainability: Uphold best practices for workplace safety and environmental compliance.Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering, 5+ years of experience in process engineering, expertise in scaling up production, troubleshooting, and process optimization.Preferred: Master’s degree, Lean Six Sigma certification, experience in consumer goods or chemical-based manufacturing, and familiarity with process automation.This role offers a chance to contribute to a state-of-the-art facility and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52.88 - $57.69/hr.
