Your Opportunity: Taylor Visual Impressions is looking for a Process Automation Analyst to oversee our prepress production workflows.
Your Shift:
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday (on-site)
Your Responsibilities:
Gather and document requirements for the facility’s PJM Automation to press, to be utilized by the Estimating/Order Entry/Service Team/PrePress teams.
Collaboratively work with existing team in programming, testing, and validating in-house software (PJM) to automate additional product sets to press, to help reduce labor expense and limit material waste.
Work with the Service, Technology and PrePress teams on the implementation of new accounts utilizing technology platforms to automate jobs to press.
Create/Manage die line and grouping template files utilized in the automation workflows.
You Must Have:
1+ years of related experience
Technical: Understand how computers, data networks, databases, operating systems, etc., work together
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate with a team
Organized and able to tackle tasks systematically
Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office Applications, including, but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
Expert knowledge of all Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat
Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks and projects
Eager to learn with a “continual process improvement” mindset
We Would Also Prefer:
Previous work experience in Print Production/PrePress roles
Ability to think outside the box to help improve workflows and procedures
Ability to read/understand/write XML text
Knowledge of digital graphic layout and design, for use in print (not digital environments)
Ability to create, manipulate and review digital print files for completeness and compatibility with print production requirements
