Inviting applications for the role of Process Associate/ Process Developer - Claims Specialist, Life and Annuities
Responsibilities
Initial death notification and follow-up on incomplete documents and information in relation to submitted death claims
Reviewing and matching beneficiary claim forms (death claims)
Maintaining and reviewing death trackers with multiple beneficiaries
Review return mail and determine what action to take, resend letter/packet, research address
Strong written English and good understanding of grammar to review documents and letter for grammatical mistakes and correcting them accordingly
Data Entry: Enter and update policy and transaction information into the system with high accuracy
Communicate with clients and agents to obtain necessary information, resolve issues, and provide updates on request status
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients and agents, ensuring satisfaction and striving to meet and exceed service standards
Industry Knowledge: Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the life and annuity insurance industry, products, services, and processes
Qualitative review of the documents received for completion and gather additional requirements
Prioritize transactions according to documented guidelines to meet SLA
Plans and organizes tasks and work responsibilities to achieve objectives
Assist with/perform other team tasks as required
Ability to accurately interpret and compile information from a variety of sources and systems
Interact with Onshore /Offshore and customer in a respectful and professional manner via email
Manage own work in process and support team efforts to ensure that individual, team goals are met
Maintain key records like working files, email for reference and audit purpose
Should be able to handle basic day to day requirements of excel
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications/Skills
Graduation in any stream except B.Tech and Technical Graduation Law
Essential Skills
Relevant experience in Life and Annuities Claims
Understanding of HIPAA (PHI/PII)
Strong English Communication (Both written verbal)
Proactive communication High analytical skills – should be able to foresee issues and suggest solutions, with impactful data
Displays energy and enthusiasm in approaching the job
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Ready to work on stretched working hours
Basic Computer knowledge along with typing speed of 35 words/minute
Insurance knowledge
Experience towards direct calling to Insured/ providers/facility
