Under supervision coordinates communication of daily surgical and/or procedural case progress to the Charge RN, staff, surgeons and anesthesiologists. Coordinates Perioperative Services surgical and procedural scheduling by obtaining data relevant to the specific procedure and works with inter-/intra-departmental staff as necessary to ensure accurate procedure resource scheduling. Responsible for communicating surgical schedules to professional offices. Coordinates and resolves routine scheduling conflicts or escalates issues as appropriate.

Required Qualifications: 

Proficiency in three areas of responsibility and/or must have at least 1 year experience in the Providence Operating Room with maintained proficiency in two areas of function listed above in Essential Functions Daily Operations Computer skills using a variety of software

Preferred Qualifications: 

Coursework/Training in Medical terminology
