As an Inpatient Occupational Therapist, you'll work one-on-one with hospitalized patients to bring them a sense of normalcy and independence through self-care management and Activities of Daily Living. You are comfortable communicating and educating patients, family members, and caregivers on how to best assist with daily routines. This role gives you the opportunity for interdisciplinary team collaboration to ensure the best and most evidenced based practice for our patients.

Our clinic is located within a 30-bed hospital that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for both general rehabilitation and stroke specialty, ensuring top-tier care for our patients.
Our clinic boasts an exceptional team of seasoned clinicians and new graduates, fostering a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere. We are passionate about teaching and mentoring, helping our newer clinicians grow professionally while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
The rehabilitation caseload at our clinic is diverse, with approximately 50% focused on neurological rehabilitation. The remaining caseload includes a mix of polytraumas, cardiac rehabilitation, amputations, and other complex cases, allowing us to offer specialized care to a wide variety of patients.

Your Responsibilities as an Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Rehab
Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient empowering them to previous level of functioning or proceed to next level of care
Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs
Demonstrate a positive connection with patient, fellow clinicians, and other team members
Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (I.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc)
Qualifications
Graduate of an AOTA approved occupational therapy program
State Licensure
Registered with NBCOT
Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
Salary: $50/Hr. Weekdays and $55/Hr. Weekends
