Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant assists the Occupational Therapist in the practice of occupational therapy to include development deficits, activities of daily living work conditioning, range of motion, coordination, balance endurance, cognition, and exercise programs to restore function and increase strength.

Our clinic is located within a 30-bed hospital that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for both general rehabilitation and stroke specialty, ensuring top-tier care for our patients.
Our clinic boasts an exceptional team of seasoned clinicians and new graduates, fostering a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere. We are passionate about teaching and mentoring, helping our newer clinicians grow professionally while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
The rehabilitation caseload at our clinic is diverse, with approximately 50% focused on neurological rehabilitation. The remaining caseload includes a mix of polytraumas, cardiac rehabilitation, amputations, and other complex cases, allowing us to offer specialized care to a wide variety of patients.

Your Responsibilities as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Inpatient Rehab
Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patientsEstablish strong relationships with each patient so that they have ability to exceed their functional goalsDemonstrate a positive connection with patient, fellow clinicians, and other team members Build and maintain relationships throughout the communityQualifications
Graduate of an AOTA approved occupational therapist assistant programState LicensureBasic Life Support Certification via the American Heart AssociationSalary: $35/Hr. Weekdays and $40/Hr. Weekends
