We want you to apply! **Job Summary and Qualifications** **MRI Assistant - PRN/Per Diem** Our imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a PRN MRI Assistant who will perform various clerical functions as need by MRI Department leadership and staff. You will also assist the radiologist with various functions of the radiology reading room. _We prioritize patient care._ _If you are dedicated to caring for the well-being of others, this could be your next opportunity._ Your tasks and responsibilities as an Imaging Assistant may include but are not limited to: · Prepare multi-viewer for Radiologists · Prepare radiographs for viewing by Radiologist, including previous reports and films · Assist with consultation processes for special procedures with Radiologist · Responsible for film control, correspondence, customer relations, physician relations, answering telephones, filing and calling reports to physicians · Other duties may include assisting physicians, ER and OR with imaging needs, patient transport and exam room preparation **Qualifications** · High school diploma / GED · Basic Life Support (BLS) certification · Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. **HCA Florida Blake Hospital** is a 383-bed hospital located in Bradenton, FL.
