This position will also perform routine X-ray examinations per policies, practices, procedures, and applicable regulations. This role requires efficient and accurate delivery of one-on-one patient care while thriving in a fast-paced environment. Ensures that every patient is treated with quality clinical care and receives excellent patient experience from welcoming, respectful, and skillful colleagues. Key Responsibilities: + Completes diagnostic x-rays for patients within the scope of practice for Limited Scope X-ray Operator certification. + Prepare patients for radiologic procedures. + Operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. Position radiologic equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance according to the specification of the examination. + Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to ensure the safety of patients and team members. + Ensure radiologic equipment remains in working order. + Keep patients informed of expected wait times during all aspects of the visit. + Responsible for clerical tasks in both the front and back office associated with patient care and proper record keeping. **Work Location:** Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located around various clinics in the Denver Metro Area. **Why Join Us:** Community Practice Medicine, housed within the School of Medicine at the University of Colorado, is seeking trained medical professionals to join our growing team.
