In this role will offer you the following daily key responsibilities:

Provide leadership to the Program Planning and MBO Production Planning Group by ensuring high quality planning and operations analyses are delivered in a timely manner. Program Planning functions include development and status of production plans and schedules, Service Life Evaluation (SLE) coordination and status, project management support, rate and capacity analysis, weekly and monthly schedule metrics, and independent assessment of LM-SWFLANT production activities. Functions also include analysis of long-range missile, support equipment and storage requirements, risk and opportunity management, and stock sweep coordinator activities. This group provides production schedules for Missile Body Operations and Factory Management Teams at SWFLANT and integrates SWFLANT planning with the FBM Integrated Master Schedule. Production Planning support includes, providing production planning products required to meet all SWFLANT pre-DD250 manufacturing and production processing quality, design, schedule and contract requirements. Areas supported include SWFLANT Missile Body Operations and Factory Management Teams (FMT's). Provide cross organizational support, coordination and interpretation of technical requirements as established by engineering drawings, specifications and command media requirements.


Please note that this position does NOT support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Kings Bay, GA, and will be expected to work in the office.
Basic Qualifications:
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/combined education
• Experience in production and manufacturing operations
• Demonstrated successful role leading/overseeing the efforts of personnel.
• Leadership skills and behaviors that align with Full Spectrum Leadership (FSL) imperatives
• You will need to be a US Citizen (no dual citizens), and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD TOP SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Please note:

No clearance is required to apply, but an Interim Secret clearance is needed prior to start.
Desired Skills:
To be effective, ideally, you should also have:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or Project Management
• Knowledge of processing operations
• Proven ability to interface and communicate with
customers, peers and leadership
• Experience in leading special projects
• Green Belt certified
• Experience in Production/Program Planning and/or
Earned Value Management.
• Experience in development and maintenance of
Integrated Master Schedules
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills (verbal, presentation and written).

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
