Private Duty Registered Nurse Compensation: $48/hr Available Shifts: 7A-7P & 7P-7A Start Date: Immediate We are proud to offer you the opportunity to pursue your passion as a Private Duty Registered Nurse. We are looking for caring and skilled RN's to deliver concierge level care to clients in Chicago's Gold Coast. Responsibilities: * Provide thoughtful care to client & patients based on personalized Plan of Care. * Administer prescribed medications at scheduled times, ensuring correct dosage. * Provide hands-on support with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. * Assist with mobility, including transferring from bed to chair, and ensuring the client’s safety while moving. * Offer emotional support and reassurance, using calm and reassuring language to reduce anxiety or agitation. * Manage difficult behaviors associated with advanced Alzheimer’s, such as confusion, aggression, or wandering, using de-escalation techniques. * Observe for any changes in the client’s physical or mental condition, including sleep patterns, appetite, and memory, and report to the healthcare team or family members. * Intake and output monitoring. * Monitor and track changes in the client/patient’s conditions and needs and keeps the Director of Nursing and any other appropriate personnel informed. * Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily care, including activities, behaviors, medications administered, and any incidents. Requirements: * Current unrestricted RN license in state for which care is being provided * Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray * Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required in a home health agency, or healthcare facility, preferred. * Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance * Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull.
