Print Services Supervisor
Location: New York, New YorkJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $44.11 - 46.87 per hourWe’re seeking a Print Services Supervisor to work alongside the Creative Manager, ensuring top-notch service delivery through efficient workflow management, quality control, and vendor coordination. This role involves overseeing daily operations, leading status meetings, providing performance feedback, and driving process improvements to maintain high-quality output across creative teams.Responsibilities: Supervise daily workflow for the print services team, monitoring job requests and assigning tasks across locations and external vendors. Oversee the work of print personnel, providing performance feedback to management. Evaluate workload capacity, manage outsourcing, and maintain vendor relationships. Execute large complex projects and small rush jobs, ensuring timely delivery in a fast-paced environment. Update the creative manager on staffing, work volume, overtime, supply levels, and equipment issues. Monitor quality control processes and conduct final checks before client delivery. Serve as the primary contact for resolving service delivery concerns and conducting debriefs. Apply expertise in print equipment and methods to troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions. Manage equipment service calls, obtain estimates, and ensure resolutions. Research and recommend new or replacement equipment and services. Purchase supplies, track vendor invoices, and maintain supply inventories. Mentor and train new team members, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment. Lead project management phases, including communication, production, documentation, and delivery. Guide creative team members on print best practices and industry trends to enhance skills. Qualifications: High school diploma and associate degree or equivalent work experience. 6+ years of print experience managing high-profile, complex projects, leading teams, and troubleshooting print devices. 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred. Strong expertise in reprographic equipment and methods. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, Adobe Acrobat, and InDesign. Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and project management skills. Proven leadership abilities, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills. Experience recommending new or replacement equipment and services. Knowledge of creative industry practices, digital/print trends, and collaboration with designers. Strategic decision-making skills with an ability to escalate issues appropriately. Education: High school diploma and associate degree or equivalent work experience.
