**Senior On-Site Service Specialist**
**Position Overview:**
The Senior On-Site Services Specialist provides on-site support at a customer location,
handling high-volume printing, copying, and mailing services, while maintaining office
equipment and ensuring smooth office operations. This role requires regular customer
interaction, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of office services.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Operate and maintain high-volume copiers and printers at the customer site,
ensuring machines are stocked with paper and toner. Perform quality checks and
troubleshoot issues like paper jams or low ink.
• Manage print job requests from the customer, ensuring timely completion and
quality of output.
• Sort, distribute, and manage incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and shipments for
the customer. Ensure all shipments are properly labeled, tracked, and dispatched
promptly.
• Maintain postage and shipping records for the customer’s mailing needs.
• Provide on-site customer service by responding to inquiries and updates regarding
print, mail, and equipment services.
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on copiers, printers, and other
office equipment at the customer location. Report major issues to technicians for
repair.
• Keep copier and print areas neat, organized, and well-stocked with supplies. Ensure
proper functioning of all office equipment and assist with equipment setup and
operation.
• Provide temporary reception duties as needed, answering phones, greeting visitors,
and assisting with general inquiries.
• Assist with meeting room setups, ensuring that meeting spaces are properly
equipped with necessary supplies, printing materials, and technology.
• Perform light office maintenance tasks such as organizing supply rooms,
maintaining clean office areas, and assisting with office moves.
• Perform document scanning, archiving, and filing tasks in support of the customer’s
specific requests.
• Manage customer requests for various office services, ensuring all jobs are
completed efficiently and to specification.
**Qualifications:**
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience in office services, copying, printing, or mailroom services
preferred.
• Basic proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with office equipment and software.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the
ability to interact professionally with clients and visitors.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic office equipment issues (copiers, printers, etc.).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with moving office equipment if necessary.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required if the role
involves travel between customer locations.
**Working Conditions:**
• Frequent exposure to copier/fax machine noise and toner.
• Physical tasks may include standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
• Occasional exposure to weather conditions when traveling between customer
buildings or sites.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines in a customer-facing role,
maintaining clear and professional communication.
