As the landscape of AI rapidly evolves, and given the rise of Generative AI models and Applications, AWS is seeking a Worldwide Data and AI Specialist to join our growing team and drive innovation in our services, go-to-market, and how we best support customers for sustaining success with Data and AI, globally.
The emergence of Generative AI has unlocked unprecedented possibilities for our customers. By seamlessly combining large language models with expansive foundation data, these transformative technologies enable customers to generate rich, contextual content, automate complex workflows, and unlock new business opportunities. However, the success of Generative AI hinges on the curation and integration of high-quality data – a challenge many customers find along their journey with Data and AI.
In this role, you will be responsible for deeply understanding the specific data and AI needs of customers across segments, industries, and geographies. Through extensive research, customer engagement, and hands-on experience, you will uncover critical insights that will shape new guidance, solutions, and engagement models to delight customers and empower them to harness the full potential of Generative AI. In this role you will also be responsible for having a deep understanding of market and technology trends for Data and AI, prioritizing related challenges and opportunities based on size of their impact, and sharing across the broader Data and AI Specialist, and AWS Sales organizations, to drive continuous improvements in go-to-market and customer engagement for Data and AI.
Key job responsibilities
• Continuously monitor industry trends and customer feedback to identify emerging needs and opportunities, and proactively develop strategies to address them
• Develop comprehensive guidance and strategies to help customers navigate the complexities of foundation data curation and integration, enabling them to unlock the full potential of Generative AI
• Leverage your expertise to develop new guidance, solutions, and engagement models to ensure Sales and Specialists teams work proactively with customers, allowing them to capitalize on the benefits of the latest Generative AI advancements
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales teams, specialist teams, product management, engineering, sales operations, finance, and other key stakeholders, to bring your insights to life and drive meaningful customer outcomes
• Provide regular insights to Sales Operations and Finance teams to operationalize mechanisms to continually improve how we measure our business and customer success with Data and AI projects
• Serve as a subject matter expert and thought leader, sharing your knowledge and insights with the broader AWS community, including leading executive-level briefings on data and AI topics
