** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced Principle Engineer to fill a three-year assignment in the Atlanta, GA area.
This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.

Job Title: Principle Engineer

Requirements:
This position will be Hybrid: Mon- Thurs in office
Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. 5 years minimum experience in project management, with a focus on Utility or Pipeline. Experience in Utility or Pipeline Industry is required. Professional engineering (PE) license is a plus. Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. Experience working with Transmission and Large Pipeline data and operations is highly desirable. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities: This role will involve working closely with various business units, stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure that GIS processes are effectively integrated and optimized for operational excellence. Lead and manage Large Pipeline related GIS (Geographic information Systems) projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards. Collaborate with Transmission and Large Pipeline Operating business units to understand their data requirements and operational needs. Develop and implement new GIS processes to support the integration and management of Transmission and Large Pipeline data. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless incorporation of GIS processes. Create detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, highlighting any issues or changes in scope. Facilitate training sessions and workshops for end-users to ensure effective utilization of new GIS processes and tools. Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in GIS and pipeline operations. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to GIS data management and pipeline operations.
