The Onsite Windows Tablet Engineer, Principal will be accountable for technical customer engagements for rugged tablet opportunities, driving efficiency in proof of concept and evaluation workflows. This role will be responsible for evangelizing Zebra mobile computing solutions in addition to our IHV partner products. This unique role will work externally with Sales and the Channel as well as internally with engineering, product marketing and product management.
Responsibilities:
Leads in the discovery, analysis, design, demonstration, and refinement of fully integrated solutions aligned to a specific product line.Drives efficiencies in customer imaging, testing, and deployment via MDMPartners and collaborates with Zebra ISV and IHV Partners to develop holistic solutionsProvides technical leadership and direction to Zebra Sales, Channel partners and customers with pre-sales activities supporting Zebra productsApplies Solution Selling concepts to customer situationsTakes leadership stance and proactively manages large strategic opportunitiesMakes technical and sales presentations to channel partner’s technical and sales staff, as well as value propositions to customer CXO briefingsUnderstands policies and practices related to role and shares ideas for improvementUnderstands and explains how Zebra solutions can help customer’s business results; obtains profitable revenue growth via value proposition vs. competitionLeads in the discovery, analysis, design, demonstration, and refinement of fully integrated technology solutionsSolves routine problems of moderate complexity (e.g. verifying technical compatibility) at the customer levelUnderstands and resolves problems with support from technical resourcesWorks under general supervision. Makes decisions of moderate complexity that impact deliverables of projects; exercises judgment in approach, sometimes requiring and assessing tradeoffsResponsible for effective and smooth onboarding of Zebra solutions in specific product line opportunities, and Proof of Concept workflows.Works directly with Buyers/decision makers as well as CXO level stakeholders.Works quickly through any hurdles with out-of-box, hardware testing, onboarding as well as imaging and deployment

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience12 + years of relevant experienceExperience in sales engineering/pre-sales or an applicable technical-related role (field sales enablement, Systems Engineering, Sales Engineering).Hands-on experience with Windows Imaging, MDM integrations, including but not limited to Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Vmware Airwatch, Citrix, Mobile Iron and othersPreferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Zebra – Utilizes solid understanding of all Products/Services in business, as well as Zebra ISV/IHV PartnersExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to resolve complex solutions and utilize strategic thinkingMust be technically savvy, but with a sales mentalitySome exposure in a sales-related role highly preferredGeneral understanding of modern management solutions and technologies preferredDemonstrated experience presenting to customers preferredExperience in mobile windows computing preferred

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
