Title: Principal Telecommunication Engineer Job Responsibilities: + Responsible for the delivery of the TSI/Telecoms Package. + Support the Telecoms Lead Engineer in all other Telecoms activities. + Develop Telecoms Systems Specifications, TSI Scope of Work, and Bill of Materials. + Prepare Telecoms systems block diagram sketches. + Review telecoms systems studies such as PAGA coverage study, radio coverage study, VSAT link calculation, fiber optic link budget, etc. + Prepare requisition and perform technical bid evaluation of Telecoms Systems. + Perform telecoms power consumption, heat dissipation, and weight estimation. + Liaise with clients to resolve engineering comments and provide solutions. + Coordinate with other disciplines and contractors on systems interfaces. Job Requirements: + Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Telecommunications). + Minimum of 12 years of experience in Telecoms Detailed Engineering in the Oil and Gas industry, preferably on offshore projects. + Knowledge of international regulations, codes, and standards affecting Telecoms Systems. + Knowledge of Telecoms studies and calculations. + Proficient in writing Telecoms specifications. + Team player who can interact effectively with colleagues from other disciplines, clients, and suppliers.
