Honeywell is hiring a Principal Technical\nSales Engineer. This role will be a part of a high-performing technical sales\nteam in the Clean Hydrogen and Carbon Capture area of Honeywell Sustainable\nTechnology Solutions (STS).  The position\nwill be based in Rosemont, IL, Houston, TX, or Tulsa, OK and operate on\na hybrid work schedule. This role will have up to 25% domestic and international\ntravel. The position will report to the Sr. Technical Sales Leader –Clean\nHydrogen and Carbon Capture Solutions.

You will be primarily accountable for assessing\ntechnical needs and requirements of carbon capture and clean hydrogen inquiries,\ndeveloping technical proposals, and supporting sales during the development of\ncommercial proposals.  You will interface\nwith our engineering disciplines, our customers, participate in business and\nsales strategy meetings, lead pricing and engineering reviews with our\nleadership teams, coach less experienced engineers, develop tools, and support\nproductivity improvement projects. 

Typical projects will range in value from $1 – $100\nmillion dollars.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead technology selection, process configuration, and proposal strategiesDrive the development of technical proposals and deliverables as response to customer inquiriesDevelop economic analyses for the technology being offeredArticulate quantified economic benefits of offeringsConfigure and run process simulations for clean hydrogen and carbon capture technologiesPrepare commercial summaries for project opportunitiesPresent and explain commercial summaries to senior management in review meetingsCoach less experienced technical sales engineersDevelop technical tools to expedite UOP responses and drive organization efficiency

YOU MUST HAVE:

12+ years of experience in selling/proposing licensed technologies and/or process equipment, and/or engineering design services in oil and gas or power, steel, and cement industriesBachelor's degree in chemical engineeringAbility to travel to UOP customers worldwide (25% domestic & international travel)
