As a **Principal Technical Program Manager** within the Identity & Network Access (IDNA), Entra Edge, and Quality Services Business Unit, you will join a dedicated team committed to delivering the World's Most Reliable Identity Services. In this capacity, your responsibilities will include identifying, defining, and implementing improvements across the IDNA service model. By promoting and instilling divisional thinking focused on reliability and resiliency, you will be seen as a leader in the Service and Incident Management domain. Furthermore, you will collaborate with other program managers and service team engineers to enhance Identity livesite/devops operations, aiming to prevent outages proactively and expedite outage mitigation effectively when they occur.

**Responsibilities**
+ Drive divisional thinking on reliability and resiliency, being a leader in Service & LiveSite Operations (Production Server Management).
+ Drive improvement across IDNA in partnership with other MS Security partners, Azure, and M365.
+ Leverage data to drive analytic and program insights by collecting performance metrics and KPIs to identify opportunities for reliability and resiliency improvement and to surface business objectives and key results (OKRs).
+ Mine data sources and develop data visualizations that drive decisions in strategy and program execution.
+ Use data and insights to develop and execute program strategies through all stages of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing.
+ Clearly identify and communicate risks and challenges to overcome program blockers.
+ Partner with engineering counterparts to deliver technical solutions to reliability and resiliency issues.
+ Drive process innovation and learning by leveraging cross-organizational learnings and partnering with engineering teams.
+ Identify opportunities, write requirements, and drive implementation of automated and AI solutions.
+ Conduct Stakeholder Engagement: Build, develop and maintain highly collaborative and effective working relationships with key stakeholders to foster cooperation and continuous feedback loops.

**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years' experience in engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 3+ years of experience in cross-group, cross-functional engineering roles.
+ 3+ years of experience in systems engineering.
**Other Requirements:**
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
+ Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
**Preferred Qualifications** **:**
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years' experience in engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ Effective written and oral communication skills at all organization levels
+ Experience with reporting and data analysis systems & platforms (e.g., Power BI, SAP, etc.).
+ Experience running Cloud Services with a focus on Resilience and Reliability to drive the quality of the services.
Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
