**Description** SAIC is seeking a System Administrator Principal with experience in Systems Administration to join the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) Team in El Segundo, California. PNT SE&I provides engineering, integration, technical analysis, and subject matter expertise (SME) support to the US Space Force. As a member of our PNT SE&I Team, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment with Government personnel and systems engineers to create and manage user accounts, maintain computer systems such as servers, workstations, and databases, and execute system audits. Major duties of this position include: + Conducting hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines. + Working closely with network and systems analysts to help determine and develop the systems that will be implemented. + Coordinating, directing and performing complex software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages. + Ensuring data/media recoverability by developing and implementing a schedule of system backups and database archive operations. + Scheduling installations and upgrades and maintaining them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures. + Developing, implementing and promoting standard operating procedures (SOP). **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience; Master's degree and 3+ years of related experience; or Ph.D. + Active Secret clearance. + Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and other Windows Roles and Features related to Enterprise services. + Experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022. Desired: + Experience with AWS Gov Cloud, IBM DOORS, Nessus vulnerabilities scanning, Splunk, Trelix, EPOs, or SharePoint. + Experience with virtualization, e.g., vmWare and ESXi. + Experience working in a Linux environment. + Experience in a Systems Administration role. + Security+ certification. + IAT Level II or above certification in addition to Security+. Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
