Element Digital Engineering is a leading provider of specialist engineering simulation, design, and consultancy support to clients across many industries – including Aerospace, Automotive, Energy, Built Environment and Chemical Process – in the UK and internationally.
Our technical work covers everything from using experience judgement and simple hand calculations, system level 1D modelling to detailed component level 2D/3D simulations; always mindful of the need to use the appropriate level of analysis fidelity to produce practical solutions for our clients.
Due to sustained growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Principal Structural Consultant and Team Leader to support the continued growth and development of our Bristol Office.
Responsibilities
​​​​As a part of our team, you will report to the Engineering Manager (Bristol) and play a central role in providing our clients with; design support and verification services, operational troubleshooting, and technical safety assessments. In addition to participating in technical delivery and client relationship management, you will also lead a mixed discipline consultancy team and support your direct report team members by:;
Managing, planning and forecasting their utilisation in line with company objectives;
Monitoring and reviewing their performance and development;
Development of a positive team culture with adherence to core values – care, integrity and progress
Alignment of team members with strategic objectives and customer needs
Providing pastoral care and support.
The position will be based in our Bristol - Harbourside office.
