The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Accounting team:
Brief Description of Department
The RTX Corporate Accounting team has an immediate need for a highly motivated finance professional to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring quality and timely delivery of Corporate related activities, including leading and supporting our month-end and quarter-end close activities.
This role will provide an excellent opportunity for leadership through driving process improvements, enhanced controls and monitoring, and other critical corporate accounting activities. Additionally, this individual will be a key point of contact in collaborating with a wide range of individuals working in various corporate functions outside of accounting including Legal, Treasury, Benefits Finance and Environmental, Health & Safety, among other departments.

Qualifications You Must Have:
This role typically requires a bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field and at least 5+ years applicable work experience gained in a corporate/public accounting or financial management settingU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.At least 3 years’ experience with SAP ERP system, including developing and implementing system enhancements and/or supporting ERP implementationsAt least 3 years’ experience working with and knowledge of quarterly Corporate and/or business results, balance sheet and P&L statements as well as providing support and periodic reviews with senior managementQualifications We Prefer:
Prior RTX or aerospace and defense industry experienceAdvanced degree in Finance, Accounting, BusinessExcellent analytical, problem identification, problem-solving and decision-making skillsStrong oral and written communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and the ability to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvementsExperience recognizing process shortfalls and successfully implementing positive change and the ability to manage multiple priorities with limited oversight and prioritize workloadRole Type:

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
