Primary Role

PRINCIPAL SOLUTION ENGINEER P2P (MULTIPLE OPENINGS)

 

American Water Works Company (Camden, NJ) to be responsible for configuring SAP P2P processes on multiple SAP and integrated systems; providing SAP best practice knowledge in the design processes of SAP applications; performing the necessary configuration to convert business user requirements into a business solution; carrying out business process blueprinting, detailed design, configuration, testing, and support; working with the business to gather requirements, developing proof of concepts for new technologies/solutions, and suggesting business process improvisation to reduce complexity in custom application; maintaining a solutions roadmap that enables business outcomes, and to reliably forecast business needs in the 3-5 year horizon; leading projects that execute against this roadmap to include development from concept through realization including enhancements, new modules, systems, solutions, quality improvements and productivity improvements; contributing to the development of custom applications that serve the specific process areas, domains or lines of business aligned to their expertise; serving as a liaison between technical, quality assurance and non-technical stakeholders throughout the development and deployment process; creating and maintaining testing scripts in SAP Solution Manager; and creating training materials and assisting with user orientation and training. Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Management or directly related field. Must have 5 years of prior work experience in the position offered or related with SAP S4 HANA. Must know (through academic training or work experience) SAP Materials Management and related modules like Purchasing, Service and Inventory Management, Quality Management, Invoice Verification; Integrating SAP Supply Chain solutions and integration with non-legacy technologies and architectures; SAP Procure to Pay; Taulia application integration with SAP including refreshes and upgrades; Coupa, including Purchasing, Sourcing, Contract management, eProcurement, Supplier Information Management, etc.; and OpenText VIM including Archiving and document access using SAP NetWeaver Platform and Fiori.
