Norway SDL is seeking an RTO (real time operations) professional or suitably experienced field engineer for an office-based position within a highly competent, dynamic, and growing Sperry drilling team. Being embedded within and collaborating closely with multiple different departments (mudlogging, MWD and DD). RTO professional has a heavy focus on supporting field engineers and ensuring real time data delivery is maintained to the highest standards.

You will be part of a team both locally in Norway and globally. The main tasks are:
Qualifications
Bachelor degree (BSc) or Master (MSc) in IT, Computer Science, Petroleum Engineering, Geoscience or other relevant fields. Good computer hardware and software skills Fluency in EnglishPersonal qualifications
Team oriented candidate that exhibits good communication skills. The role relies on clear, concise and open communications with several different teams. You need to work structured and organized, with a methodical approach. The work environment of real time data delivery support can at times be stressful when well monitoring, and so a calm composed personality is advantageous. Ability to work both self-starting and under supervision needed.
The position requires that you strongly reinforce the company’s well monitoring principles (Critical Focus Areas).
